Various betting formats and odds are used during the game. For single bets, formats such as American, fractional English, Hong Kong, decimal European, and many others can be used.
Different Betting Formats
For single bets, formats such as:
- decimal European;
- American;
- fractional English;
- Hong Kong and others.
All these formats have their advantages and disadvantages, so the player needs to pay attention to all the circumstances when choosing. Thus, the European format is used mainly in Canada, Europe, and Australia. Decimal odds are the ratio of total amounts to bet amounts, i.e. the odds are a decimal greater than 1. To calculate, the coefficient must be multiplied by the total amount of winnings, that is, it is quite simple to calculate the resulting amount, the system itself is extremely clear and simple. For example, if the odds are equal to 2, then the bet will have equal chances, if one side wins, the winning amount will be the amount of the other party’s net winnings, which it would have received if the match had been in its direction.
Fractional English coefficient is used predominantly in the United Kingdom. The coefficient of this type is calculated as the ratio of the amount of net winnings to the amount of all wagered funds, that is, the size of the bet. That is, it will be equal to 1/1, which is fully consistent with bets with equal odds.
The use of the American coefficient is accepted in the United States, with the help of this system, the amount is calculated based on the amount of net profit received with a bet of 100, but only with a positive result. Also, the calculation takes into account the amount that must be wagered to win, but in case the odds are negative. If the odds are equal to 100, the bet will have equal chances of losing or winning.
The Asian market is characterized by the use of Malay, Hong Kong or Indonesian coefficients. They allow you to determine a hypothetical, expected outcome with a fairly high probability of outcome. This allows you to make the bet almost break-even.
Players can use different betting formats, in addition, they can all be converted into each other, for which a special bet converter is used:
- When converting decimal format to fractional, you need to subtract 1 from them, and then convert the resulting number into a fraction;
- When converting the decimal format to the American format, the following formula is used: 100*(x-1), if x is greater than or equal to 2, and -100/(x-1) if the value of x is less than 2No
- When converting a fractional coefficient to a decimal factor, you need to convert the fraction into a decimal number, then add 1 to it;
- When converting a fractional coefficient to an American one, you need to convert the eyebrow to a regular decimal number, then multiply by 100 if x is greater than or equal to 1, or -100 divided by x if the value of x is less than 1;
- To convert the American format to decimal, use the formula (x/100)+1 if x is greater than 0 and (-100/x)+1 if x is less than 0;
- When converting the American coefficient to a fraction, you need to multiply x by 100, convert to a fractional value when x is greater than 0, if x is less than zero, then the formula -100/x is used;
- To convert decimal format to Hong Kong, subtract 1 from x;
- When converting Hong Kong to Indonesian, the formula (1/x)*-1 is applied if x is less than 1 or the coefficient will be equal to x if its value is greater than 1;
- To convert the Hong Kong coefficient to the Malaysian coefficient with x greater than 1, the formula (1/x)*-1 is used, and the coefficient will be equal to x if its value is less than or equal to 1.
